Rhythm and repetition are elements of design common to music and architecture…
It was in musing over this fact whilst admiring the features of our local iconic
SUBSTATION 75, that the song was conceived.
Many of Brisbane’s electricity substations have been preserved and repurposed
as arts centres due to their enduring classic design.
It is our hope that one day this one too becomes a creative space as we wind down the use of coal-based power and bring on renewables!
